Biography
Born in Italy, Dario Lo Presti has been passionate about the art of photography since his childhood. His frequent travels in his youth gave him the opportunity to fulfil this desire and share his vision of the world through a camera. As his love lies in photography itself rather than in a specific subject, his work ranges from landscapes to macrophotography, from still lifes to portraits.
Even so, over the years he has developed a fondness for working in a photo studio, devoting much of his time to perfecting lighting techniques for still life photography but continuing to cultivate all the other aspects of his extensive visual art. He now lives in Austria where he has opened his own studio.
Work
He began his professional career in Italy starting out as a wedding and event photographer. Later, in 2012, he started working as a stock photographer, contributing to the New York based photo agency Shutterstock, with whom he still works. Among the most important agencies he contributes to are Getty Images' iStockphoto, Adobe's Fotolia and Envato's Photodune.
He has a five-star rating on the Envato marketplace where he has also had a weekly top seller photo. His studio, based in southern Austria, accepts all jobs, large and small.
